A government agency connected with the Swedish military has revealed that it is conducting low energy nuclear reaction (LENR) or cold fusion experiments.

Rossi has confirmed on his blog how much fuel the 1MW eCat should use in 6 months of continuous operation.

Andrea Rossi is planning a new public test and demonstration of his e-cat cold fusion generator on October 28.

As the launch of Andrea Rossi’s E-Cat (Energy Catalyzer) and Defkalion’s Hyperion Ni-H cold fusion technology nears, a lack of information is causing uncertainty. 

A 2009 unclassified Defense Analysis Report gives a technology forecast stating: “Worldwide Research on Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions Increasing and Gaining Acceptance.” 

The title of a patent application recently filed by the Piantelli group has been revealed on the Italian Patent and Trademark Office website:  “Method and Apparatus for Generating Energy through Nuclear Reactions of Hydrogen Adsorbed by Orbital Capture to a Metal Crystalline Nanostructure. 

Daniele Passerini, on his 22passi blog, has received a response from Professor Stremmenos (Defkalion Board Member, physicist and conduit to the Greek government) following the Defkalion/Rossi split.

It looks like Andrea Rossi has some competition in his homeland. Another Italian company is developing a nickel hydrogen cold fusion or low energy nuclear reaction power source.

For some time now, rumours have been circulating about Professor Focardi’s former collaboration partner, Professor Piantelli. Focardi and Piantelli were the first to show the true potential of Ni-H LENR.

On July 23, 2011 a conference titled, “Has cold fusion became a reality?” was held in Viareggio, Italy.
