One of the many things that people want to know about Rossi Energy Catalyzers is the details of its operation.

In an interesting and somewhat surprising move, Andrea Rossi now says that the home-based E-Cats he is planning to launch can be refueled by the customer.

Recently, Andrea Rossi gave an estimate of annual eCat production (for the 1MW plants) in the order of low hundreds.

The following post from AR’s blog seems to imply that the 1st 1MW customer has an interest in using the eCat as a substitute for coal in power generation.

Some people are undoubtedly surprised that the Rossi Energy Catalyzer test on October 28 will actually be exclusive for a customer only.

It is important because depending on who the owner of this “home,” i.e.

We’re  just a few short days away from October  2011 — a month that E-Cat followers have been awaiting with eager anticipation.

It appears that Andrea Rossi is focusing most of his efforts at the moment on ensuring that the 1 MW thermal plant he is building is fit for purpose.
